Attend the Commissioners meetings.
The Commissioners need to know how many residents and voters care about
keeping Animal Control open

Genesee County Animal Control Sub-Committee Meeting
December 19th
County Administration Building
1101 Beach Street, 3rd Floor
Flint, MI 48502
Meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. but be there by 8:15 a.m.

Contact Your Commissioner

Call and email the three Commissioners that are on the Sub-Committee and let them know you are a Genesee County resident
and you do not want this shelter to close.  Please ask them to work with GRACE to negotiate a contract that works well for the
County and the animals.  It will be easy for them to decide to shut it down if they think you don’t care.

Visit the GRACE: Genesee Residents for Animal Control Evolution and follow the wasy directions

Click on the Scribd button on the left side of our page.  That will bring you to a page that will show you several GRACE related documents.
Give them a minute to load, and then scroll down until you see the one named Petition.

Right below the petition, click on the big blue Download button.  That will open the petition so that you can print it.  Print it off and take it to work.
Bring it with you wherever you think other people from Genesee will be and gather signatures.  Once you think you’ve gathered all the signatures
you can, please fax or mail it back to us.  We’re happy to receive a page with just a few names, and we’re certainly thrilled to receive full pages, so
either way send it back to us.  The address and fax number is right on the petition page.

If you have any difficulty getting the petition page to print, just email us at [email protected] and we’ll send it to you as an email attachment
